  : The location was good. I also liked the old possibly haunted vibe of the hostel building.
  : There was no AC in the room, so on one of the nights, it was unbearably hot.

  : the location is the number 1 upside of this hotel. it's 5 minutes away from the central u-bahn station, it's 10 minutes by foot away from the Potsdamer Platz, and 15-20 minutes by foot away from the Bradenburger Tor, a few museums and a huge park. it's also quite affordable and there's a local bar on the first floor, so you can try and get to know the other residents. the staff speaks english perfectly, and the continental breakfast was quite great. the bathrooms were clean, the rooms were also in a good state.
  : they are stingy. there's no opportunity to store food in the rooms, and it is, in fact, forbidden. there's no kitchen and no opportunity to cook, and the locks and even towels come for an extra price of 3 and 5 euros respectively. 5 euros for a towel? but i feel like the location perfectly compensates for that — again, it's pretty much in the center of the city. they can afford to be stingy.
